Where Our Wings Began
Golden Yolks Hatchery N More, LLC was founded from my lifelong dedication to animals, agriculture, and self-sufficiency. Originally from Wisconsin, I relocated to Tennessee in 2023 after years of hands-on homesteading experience raising goats, chickens, quail, horses, donkeys, pigs, and geese in an off-grid environment. That background, along with a family history rooted in agriculture, helped shape my early respect for responsible animal care and stewardship. My mother’s love for animals also played an important role in that foundation.
I once explored the path of veterinary medicine, and while my direction shifted, my commitment to animal health, welfare, and thoughtful care has remained central. My mentality is simple: I have so much love to give, and I want to pour it into something meaningful.
A deeply personal part of my life includes my daily care for my disabled brother, which inspired me to create an environment where animals can bring comfort, connection, and purpose. My husband, Mike, has been all-in from the start, supporting my vision and now plays an integral role in building and maintaining animal enclosures and farm infrastructure. Together, we bring this vision to life through hands-on dedication and craftsmanship.
Golden Yolks Hatchery N More, LLC was created to solve a simple challenge—access to healthy, well-cared-for animals from knowledgeable, trustworthy sources. Today, we specialize in chickens, quail, and rabbits, serving hobbyists, homesteaders, and small-scale farmers with animals raised with intention and care. As we grow, I look forward to expanding community give-back efforts to further support the people we serve.
